Anime Movies Wonders.
People
might think when i say anime, they might refer it to those totally underage
over sexualized women like bigger sex appeal and all those crap. Generally
anime means Japanese animation and/or manga. These piece of entertainment are
wildly different than what we see in our own country. For example in Malaysia,
we usually consume TV's dramas, and action film but mostly are
live action not in animation form. For Animation we mostly generalized them as
a piece of media that only targeted at a specific demographic such as
kids and man-child. In japan anime are for whole different demography, sure
there are a few anime for kids/teenagers that are called "Shounen".
Mostly anime in japan that are not sci fi or fantasy, reflects what happen in daily
life. Some of them are really tear-jerkingly sad and some of them are really
depressed.
For me, recently my best friend recommend me to watch some anime
movie. One of them that he recommended to me is Summer's Wars. This movie
premiered in 2010 and was published by Studio Madhouse. This film
displayed a lot of great morals and social commentaries. It also teach and
shows the viewer who are not familiar or even know about japan or Japanese in general. Japanese culture and Japanese tradition has been featured a lot in this movie even in the subtle way. I’ll write more about this movie at length because i think theres more
about this movie than meets the eye. After watching this movie my friend recommended me to watch spirited away. I've never heard of this movie prior, but
after watching the movie i am blown away by the animation, story and music.
After that i make a few research about the movie and apparently the movie watch
directed and animated by Hayao Miyazaki from Studio Ghibli. Studio Ghibli is
one of the renown anime studio in japan, they even have a museum dedicated to them.
In summary, this is only my own point and my own view about the subject matter. Perhaps my grammar and language is not the best. that is the other reason i wrote this thing, to train my own language and grammar. Back to the subject, anime movie from what I've seen is really amazing and eye opening experience for me. Stay tuned for my lengthy review about the film I've featured.
